FPA & Controlling Manager (m/f/d)

As a FPA & Controlling Manager you will get a broad overview over all key financial processes at Westwing and will have the possibility to drive them further. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Executive Team – thus, you are actively involved in many strategic and operations topics as well as in important decisions on Westwing Group and entity level. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • create, prepare and evaluate key figures for monthly reports
  • contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • design, implement, and improve reporting, forecasting, and planning activities
  • derive business recommendations based on analysis of regular financial results; conduct ad-hoc analyses and deep dives where needed
  • collaborate across teams, functions and countries and act as interface with relevant stakeholders for financial controlling topics
  • question existing processes and continuously drive the development of new strategic controlling areas
YOU COME WITH
  • university degree in economics, business administration or similar; ideally with a major in Finance/Controlling and outstanding academic credentials
  • 3+ years of professional experience in finance, cost controlling or accounting, ideally in a Tech-Start-up environment 
  • excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; PowerBI, SQL and Tableau are a plus
  • solid knowledge of ERP and reporting systems, ideally Business Central and LucaNet
  • very strong analytics, yet “hands-on” attitude with a focus on fast and flawless execution
  • a structured, independent, and goal-oriented work style
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills and passion about making an impact and working in a multicultural team
  • fluency in English
