(Senior) Pricing Manager (m/f/d)

As (Senior) Pricing Manager at Westwing, you will be responsible for optimising pricing strategies and tools across our international markets, with the goal of maximising profitability while remaining competitive. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence and drive Westwing’s growth by shaping pricing approaches, conducting tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess financial impact and support data-driven decision-making. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • refine and implement Westwing’s pricing and discounting strategies in line with financial objectives and market conditions
  • research and analyse customer and competitor behaviour to optimise dynamic pricing models and assess Westwing’s market position
  • plan, execute and evaluate pricing and discount tests, providing insights and recommendations to maximise profitability
  • enhance pricing dashboards and tools to simulate, evaluate, and monitor the financial impact of various pricing strategies
  • work closely with key stakeholders (inventory management, marketing, buying, finance, private label) and present findings in clear, creative, and engaging data visualisations
  • ensure high data quality and continuously improve the pricing data infrastructure in close collaboration with the data team, serving as the go-to person for all pricing and margin-related metrics and analyses
YOU COME WITH
  • a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as economics, business administration or similar
  • at least 2-3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment such as strategy consulting or e-commerce; experience in pricing or discounting strategy is a plus
  • demonstrate strong business sense and a solid understanding of market and pricing dynamics
  • possess excellent analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL; experience with Tableau is a plus
  • combine a passion for data and complex questions with creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
