Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d)

As a Business Intelligence Analyst in our Sustainability team, you will take end-to-end responsibility for sustainability-related data, analytics, and reporting at Westwing, with a focus on carbon emissions, supply chain transparency, and regulatory compliance (EPR, EUDR, CSRD). You will act as the single owner of sustainability BI topics, bridging regulatory and business requirements with technical data implementation.
Operating across both BI engineering and BI analytics, you will translate complex, multi-source sustainability data into decision-rexlevant insights for senior management, while ensuring audit-ready governance, traceability, and consistency across all sustainability reporting. This position is permanent and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own sustainability BI end to end, acting across BI engineering and BI analysis from raw data to management dashboards
  • Translate sustainability and regulatory requirements (CSRD / ESRS, EPR, EUDR) into robust data models, KPIs, and reporting logic
  • Develop management-ready automated dashboards, workflows, and reports enabling senior leadership decisions on carbon, supply chain, and compliance topics
  • Define and maintain sustainability KPIs, data ownership, and reporting processes, ensuring audit-ready documentation and governance
  • Act as the interface between Sustainability, Tech, Finance, and Operations, continuously improving data quality, reliability, and usability
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, improve data workflows, and enhance insight generation 
YOU COME WITH
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering in a complex, multi-system environment
  • Strong SQL querying skills and hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake); DBT and Python skills considered an advantage
  • Proven experience building dashboards in Tableau; Power BI considered an advantage
  • Experience working with product, supplier, or compliance-related systems such as PLM (e.g., Centric), CRM (Salesforce), PIM (Salsify), or comparable tools; eCommerce and finance/sustainability analytics experience is a plus
  • Structured, process-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently as a single owner, including documentation of KPIs and data processes (e.g., Confluence)
  • Fluency in English; German considered an advantage
