As a Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will support the implementation of Westwing’s sustainability compliance efforts, focusing on product and supplier-related sustainability regulations, supplier due diligence, and internal controls. Joining our team to pursue our ambitious growth strategy, you will take ownership of product and supplier data, evidence management, and audit-ready documentation to ensure robust compliance across our supply chain. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive the implementation of sustainability-related product and supplier compliance requirements across Westwing’s business processes, focusing on supplier due diligence, product data, evidence management, internal controls, and audit-ready documentation
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear operational processes, data requirements, controls, guidance, and project plans for Procurement, Tech, Legal, and Supply Chain teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional compliance workstreams across key regulations such as EUDR, UKTR, PPWR, EPR, ESPR/DPP, and green claims governance
  • Maintain compliance project plans, issue trackers, decision logs, process documentation, and evidence records to ensure clear ownership, follow-up, and business continuity across sustainability compliance topics
  • Support supplier and product data quality by coordinating documentation requests, validation checks, and control activities across relevant systems and internal stakeholders

YOU COME WITH

  • 4+ years of professional experience in sustainability, compliance, consulting, or ESG, with a strong understanding of procurement, logistics, or supply chain processes considered a plus
  • Very good knowledge of EU sustainability regulations (e.g. EUDR, UKTR, PPWR, ESPR/DPP, EPR, green claims) with proven experience translating regulatory requirements into practical processes, internal controls, and implementation plans
  • Hands-on experience with supplier due diligence, data collection, traceability documentation, and the validation of complex compliance-related datasets
  • Expertise in using compliance platforms, supplier data tools, and project management software like Asana, combined with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple timelines and priorities
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyse large datasets and present findings clearly to all stakeholders
  • A structured, solution-oriented mindset with fluency in both English and German, alongside a strong willingness to learn and grow within the sustainability compliance field
