As an Operations Manager at Westwing, you will manage all aspects of a large part of our operations, including people management and development, on-time delivery to customers, productivity, and process improvements. You will join us at an exceptional moment in our company’s development, directly contributing to the rapid growth and up-scaling of Westwing operations. In this impact-driven role, you will act with ownership and pace to lead your area and elevate our operational excellence. This position is unlimited and based in Robakowo.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, motivate and develop a large team of 200 to 300 employees, providing effective communication and training, and creating an environment for continuous professional growth
- Own and drive the performance of your operational area, ensuring high levels of safety, customer service, quality and productivity
- Cultivate a positive workplace culture centred around safety, continuous improvement and delivering on our customer promise
- Initiate and execute process optimisation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scale operations and raise the performance bar in your area
- Plan, manage and dynamically adjust staffing levels and resource allocation to seamlessly meet shifting operational requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to optimise overall unit performance, share insights and build on operational best practice
YOU COME WITH
- 2+ years of leadership experience in operational or warehouse management, ideally within a dynamic, fast-paced logistics or e-commerce environment
- A university degree or equivalent proven working experience, paired with a solid understanding of inbound and outbound warehouse operations
- A people-first leadership style and a continuous improvement mindset, thriving in fast-moving environments and maintaining high quality even at scale
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and labour law requirements to ensure a safe, compliant and supportive working environment
- A structured, detail-oriented and independent working style with a strong affinity for data and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to keep processes organised and scalable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse teams; fluency in both English and Polish (written and spoken) is required
